The Sacred Spiral of Life

The journey is forever coming full circle…which from a higher perspective is a spiral.

From the birth of the Caterpillar, to it’s time of death in the cocoon, to it’s rebirth as the butterfly, to it’s final death and rebirth to spirit.

The miracle that leads to the evolution to the next level or new beginning always follows the death of the old and into the breaking of the new.

Don’t, therefore, get trapped into the feelings and circumstances of the present moment…trust and allow for the breaking into the new. ~ Jennifer Taylor

Certified Life & Spiritual Coach

I am a Life & Spiritual Coach and owner of Your Life Mastered. I have worked in sales and marketing for over twenty years.  I am not the ‘typical’ coach. I actually walk my talk.  I live these teachings and insights everyday. I too am a spiritual being walking around in a human meat-suit trying to create the best life for myself and those around me. I have been coaching myself, team members, co-workers, friends, family and the general public for what feels like a life time. The real journey began about 14 yrs ago. Through a series of life events, my entire world felt like it crashed down all around me. I can remember the night when it got so bad, I got on my knees in defeat and cried “uncle”. Life as I was living it was not working. No matter how much I tried to make it work, to control everything, and just be a good person…I just couldn’t master my life.  That day marked the beginning of a whole new journey for me. That was the day that I surrendered and asked for help. I wanted to finally know, understand, and discover what I had to do to finally master my own life. To discover how to be happy and feel that ‘peace’ thing everyone talks about. I finally discovered the answer.

I will help you to create positive changes in your life. For some people, that positive change focuses on your personal goals such as relationships, time management, manifesting abundance, work-life balance, stress reduction, health, etc. but for some others you may be more interested in professional or business goals such as leadership, starting a business, marketing & sales, etc. Regardless of your goals, I want to work with you to help you create a better, richer, and joyful life.

What is the real truth?

Image
I Am Truth

“During all the years that we grow up, we make countless agreements with ourselves, society, with everybody around us. But the most important agreements are the ones we make with ourselves by understanding the symbols we learn. The symbols are telling us what we believe about ourselves; they’re telling us what we are and what we are not, what is possible and what is not possible. The voice of knowledge is telling us everything that we know, but who tells us if what we know is the truth?

When we go to grammar school, high school, and college, we aquire a lot of knowledge, but what do we really know? Do we master the truth? No we master a language, a symbology, and that symbology is only the truth because we AGREE, not because it is really the truth.” Excerpt from The Fifth Agreement by Don Miguel Ruiz

What is happening is simply what is happening…and that is truth. The meaning that we believe or assign it to mean is not the truth. Those meanings are all relative to each individual’s agreement with that personal belief. Much of my spiritual journey has been a dissection of the old stories & beliefs. It has been a discovery of the truth behind the lies. It has been a releasing of concepts, expectations, and venomous ways of thinking. It is a continual asking myself “What is truth” and “Am I living from that truth”? And one of the core truths for me is that “I” am true. My existence is truth…and that is enough.

The Sweet Smell of Skunk

While driving to an appointment this morning, an overwhelming smell of skunk filled every inch of my car and nasal passage. The smell was so strong it shocked me back to the moment. I realized that I had been day dreaming in my head and in that moment I made a point to take notice of what it was I was thinking about. The thoughts that were swirling around in my head…were they real and are those really want I want to manifest in the physical?

I follow a few spiritual paths, for I feel that there is a message for me everywhere if I am open to hearing it. One of my favorite paths is the path of Native American spirituality. It feels very grounding and organic for me. They believe that Great Spirit is everywhere and always sending us messages to assist us along the human walk. Animals are believed to be one of the many ways that Great Spirit communicates with us. Each animal embodies a spiritual meaning and message that if we pay attention to there presence in the moment, are there to answer and guide us to live the best life possible. They will often times sacrifice themselves in order to serve and deliver a message.

Now I didn’t see brother skunk but I sure did smell him and was keenly aware of his message for me in that particular moment.

ImageThe message that skunk brings is about your reputation. Simply, what are you announcing to the world? What energy and vibration are you sending out? What thoughts and feelings are you empowering in your manifestations? This message contains a lot of power and commands respect not only of the observer but of the beholder of the power as well. For we each contain the power to create our own reality.

The medicine of skunk reminded me in that moment to be aware of my thoughts and what I am sending out into the world. It was a gentle reminder to walk my talk by respecting myself and my own power of creation. It is just like that line in the movie Spider Man,  “With great power comes great responsibility”. We all have this amazing power within us to create our own personal heaven or our own personal hell…most have simply forgotten that and are using this power without even realizing it.

Skunk also reminds me to simply be myself and that my presence in this life is enough. I don’t need to overpower and put on a show to announce to the world who I am and what I am about. For how I care for myself, how I love myself, and how I carry myself tells the world what I believe in myself. The self-esteem is instantly recognized on a sensory level by everyone. I can use that power to attract and repel. It also teaches me to make note of what I am attracting to me in my life.

Am I attracting people, situations, and events that are positive or negative?  Throughout my day I will make a mental note to be present and aware of what I see and attract. Are the attractions pleasant in nature? If so, I will appreciate those characteristics in myself and be proud of the accomplishments I have made along my journey. And if I notice some are unpleasant within the senses, I will also make note of areas of improvement and progress. But ultimately, I am grateful to brother skunk for reminding me that what I believe in myself is my power & protection and to make sure that I project self-respect. ~ Jennifer Taylor

Paving Your Tomorrows

What we do today paves the way of our tomorrows. What actions, habits, routines, thoughts, feelings, words and mindset do you have? Are they building blocks to the next great creation or are they building blocks to a self-created prison?

Assess where you are right now? One of two things are occurring…  guaranteed. Either you are using your power to pave the road to the greatest life possible-OR-you are building walls of your own miserable prison.

Becoming Your Vision

Image

Over the past few weeks, I have encountered many who ask me the same type of questions: How do I over come obstacles? How do I get happy? How do I get what I want?

No matter what you are trying to do, create, manifest, undo…the most important thing to ask yourself is WHY? What is your compelling reason? What is your inner passion? What is the burning desire? This is the place where you can find vision for your life. This is where you access THE BIG DREAM.

Then the next vital step…LIVE from that vision place. No matter where you are right now; your circumstance is only temporary. Become your vision, live from that place…not from the circumstance where you find yourself at the moment.

You are Never your circumstance; but you can become your vision. It’s up to you to decide. ~ Jennifer Taylor

You’re Not a Hunter

In the midst of a meeting with my boss about our marketing and sales strategies, he looked at me and announced “You’re not a hunter. There are hunters in this world and you are not one of them”. This is the same boss who also told me: “I’m an ‘A’ type of personality or some would say an ‘asshole’. I’ve studied every type of personality and for the life of me, I can’t figure out which one you are. So, I’ve decided that you are just your very own type of personality”.

This is not the first time I’ve gotten these type of comments from many people over the years. Although not all stated the same way, but the meaning was the same. I was misunderstood and misjudged…and often times discredited.  I use to take offense and feel as though there was something wrong with me.  Then over many years of growth and hard-work  I could see that there was truth in both statements. I learned to recognize and embrace the gifts that I brought.

I am not a hunter in the male conventional sense. Although I have been told that I am bad-ass (mostly by men); I am not a physical fighter. I will not stalk prey or people just to take from them or take advantage of them when they are weak and vulnerable. I will not use my ego to push them around and make them feel inferior. I will not cut others to pieces with my words and actions. I will not accomplish a goal or task only to turn and rub it in the face of another. In those parameters,  he is correct in stating that I am not a hunter.

But that doesn’t mean that I don’t have inner drive, determination, passion, and down & dirty grit.  I am my own person and I leverage my attributes in the wisest ways possible. I have embraced the best parts of myself to forge ahead in life and in business. I often set new benchmarks and thresholds.

The Path To True Power

True power is never about trying to have power over someone else. Power and owning one’s power means one accepts responsibility for one’s choices and actions, one accepts that every action one takes leads to consequences that may be positive or negative.

One learns not to blame others for everything that happens but looks inside to see what sort of energy one is putting forth that has attracted the circumstances to begin with.

We learn that it is not “everyone else” that has created the circumstances in our lives, but us that have put the energy forth to begin with that attracted those people and circumstances.

Accepting this and working with it means that YOU have the ultimate power within you to transform your own life!

It’s so easy to point the finger at someone else and make them “responsible” for how our lives are not working. It’s so easy to blame circumstances or “fate” instead of calling upon our own knowing and intuition, our own inner power and setting about to “stalk” the right solutions. It’s easier to sit where one is and moan rather than pick up and move on. There is only this present moment…It’s time to get moving.~ Jennifer Taylor

Thinking is contagious.

Thinking is contagious.

What and who do you listen to the most? Think about it…is it positive and uplifting or negative/drama and draining?

They say that the size of one’s ideas are directly related to the size of our bank account. To me that means: what I am willing to invest in directly effects my outcome.

Ideally, you want to spend time with people who, like you, are invested in building their dreams, who are happy, who are positive and uplifting, who are loving and supportive… people who are thinking BIG. Surround yourself with things, people, messages of things going RIGHT instead of always reminding you of what they think is going wrong. Good things IN= good things OUT.~ Jennifer Taylor
